That’s why I had to add some garlic butter on the crust for the ultimate pizza experience. Get ready to impress your taste buds!

Method

Prepare the Dough

Start by mixing the plain flour and Greek yogurt together in a bowl. Stir until the mixture begins to form a dough-like consistency. Once the ingredients are well combined, transfer the dough onto a flour-dusted surface. Roll it into a ball, then flatten it out with a rolling pin. Aim for a shape that’s slightly larger than your intended pizza size, as the dough will shrink a little during cooking. Ensure the dough is not too thick, as it can affect the cooking time.

Stuff the Crust

Now it’s time to prepare the stuffed crust! Take your light babybels and chop them into small pieces. Place the chopped cheese around the edge of the flattened dough, ensuring that the entire perimeter is covered. The cheese should be distributed evenly, allowing for a cheesy crust that will melt beautifully when folded. Once the cheese is in place, carefully fold the dough over the cheese, pinching the edges together to seal the crust. This will create a cheesy pocket that will bake into the perfect stuffed crust during the air frying process.

Add the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the tomato purée, Passata, and your seasonings (oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper). Mix everything well until the ingredients are fully blended. Take the back of a spoon and gently spread the sauce mixture over the center of your pizza dough. Be sure to leave a small border at the edges where the crust is sealed. This will allow the garlic butter to coat the crust later and prevent the sauce from burning. Spread the sauce evenly so each bite will have that deliciously tangy tomato flavor.

Top it Off

Once the sauce is spread, sprinkle the light mozzarella and parmesan cheese generously over the pizza. The mozzarella will melt and create that wonderful gooey texture, while the parmesan adds a bit of extra flavor. You can also sprinkle some oregano or fresh basil on top to enhance the flavor. If you like your pizza with an extra burst of flavor, feel free to add more seasoning or herbs of your choice at this stage. This is your pizza, so make it as flavorful as you prefer!

Air Fry

Before placing the pizza in the air fryer, spray the edges of the crust with some Frylight to ensure they cook up golden and crispy. Preheat your air fryer to 190°C. Once it’s heated, carefully place your pizza in the air fryer basket, making sure it fits comfortably without touching the sides. Air fry the pizza for around 8 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown, and the cheese is bubbling and melted. Keep an eye on the pizza during the cooking process to ensure it doesn’t overcook. The pizza should come out crisp and delicious, with the stuffed crust perfectly melted.

  • Top it off  Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the pizza and add a little extra oregano or basil for flavor.
  • Air fry  Spray the edges with some Frylight and air fry the pizza at 190°C (preheated) for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
